Meet the Maker
I am a high school math teacher by trade, but have always had a passion for crafting. As a candle lover, I was always searching for the perfect candle to not only set the mood, but to match my minimalistic aesthetic. I decided the best way to do this was to create my own. I wanted to share my love of candles with the rest of the world, which is how Modern Glow was born.
Our mission is to provide our customers with minimalistic styled candles that fit the decor of every room. We strive to produce high quality scented candles that illuminate your senses by enhancing any mood or occasion. Each candle is handpoured with love because I know the importance of finding the perfect candle. ♥
Our candles are made with all natural coconut soy wax and lead free, cotton wicks to ensure a clean and hazardous free burn. All our fragrances are toxin and phthalate-free and infused with essential oils.
Our candle are hand poured in small batches. No machinery or factory is used. Each batch of candles is individually created and checked by me to insure the highest quality assurance.
Candle Care Safety
Our candles are made with love, so please show it some love by taking good care of it.
- Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container each time you burn it
- Trim your wick to 1/4" before each burn to avoid black smoke and to keep wax clean.
- Keep candle out of the reach of children and pets.
- Avoid burning your candle for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended; be sure to extinguish the candle before leaving the room.
- Place candle on a stable, heat resistant surface and away from flammable objects
